Digital museum
The Museum of Astronomical Instruments brings its historical and scientific heritage online through two rich digital sections: the Digital Collections and the Video Gallery.
The Digital Collections, available on the platform Phaidra, offer access to images and documents related to the history of astronomy in Padua and the Asiago Observatory. You will find archive photographs, astronomical photographic plates, technical data sheets of instruments, technical drawings, and educational material, with descriptions that contextualize each element to enhance the scientific heritage.
The Video Gallery instead shares the story of the Museum and the Observatory through presentation videos, historical events, conferences, and seminars. Updated regularly, visitors are immersed in the fascination of astronomy and discover the scientific and educational activities carried out over time. Enjoy the fascination behind science and history, navigated between images and videos that celebrate the evolution of astrophysics and the work of the Asiago Observatory.
