Observatory ticket prices:
- Full ticket: 10 €;
- reduced for children 6-11 years: 5 €;
- free for children up to 5 years, UNIPD employees and students, INAF and INFN employees.
WHERE WE ARE
The Museum of Astronomical Instruments is in Asiago in via dell’Osservatorio 8, a few steps from the Observatory. A unique location, immersed in the plateau, ideal for discovering the history of astronomical instruments and admiring the starry sky.
HOW TO GET THERE
By car
A4 Turin-Trieste motorway to Vicenza, take the Valdastico motorway (A31) exit Piovene Rocchette. Take the SS 349 to Asiago (about 24 km).
From Vicenza: SS 349 to Thiene – Asiago (55 km)
From Bassano del Grappa (brotherhood road) to Conco – Asiago (35 km)
From Trento – Lavarone – Asiago (64 km)
By train
Asiago is not directly accessible by train. The nearest stations are Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa, Thiene and Padua. From these locations, frequent bus services connect Asiago with the plateau.
By bus
For always-updated bus schedules, consult the following sites:
- SVT (Società Vicentina Trasporti): offers connections from Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa, and Thiene.
- Busitalia – Sita Nord: manages lines from Padua, with seasonal direct services or connections via Vicenza.
By plane
Asiago is accessible from Verona-Villafranca (106 km), Venice Marco Polo (121 km) and Treviso (about 90 km) airports. From the airports, it is possible to continue by car or public transport to Asiago.
